THE EPICUREAN PLEASURE SUMMIT CÔTE D’AZUR
24–26 JUNE 2026
A summit meeting — but without any political connotation.
We invite you to immerse yourself with us in days of luxurious culinary indulgence on the Côte d’Azur; we invite you to drive, alongside the Corniches between Monaco and Èze, a gastronomic ridge route — ideally as a continuation or complement to the literal summit‑route tour across France’s High and Maritime Alps.
What do we have planned for you on the coast? It will, to be sure, be something of an abduction: we will whisk you off to some of the Côte d’Azur’s most beautiful spots, some incredibly glamorous, others with a tucked‑away, insider‑tip character. You will spend two nights in the spectacularly picturesque Château de la Chèvre d’Or up in Èze Village, the village perched on the unique rocky spur between Nice and Monaco. A hotel like an enchanted lookout above the azure sea, itself bathing in a sea of jasmine and bougainvillea. The hotel is completely integrated into the terraced structure of the rocky spur and the village — the luxurious rooms are all located in the houses of the medieval village. The views here always face the sea. We have reserved only rooms with Mediterranean sea views for you. Suite upgrades are still available.
On the way there we’ll guide you from Vence to the coast via minor roads we have researched over the past nearly 25 years and found exciting because they are solitary and panoramic — not without inserting a special gastronomic event. You will meet a young winemaking couple in Bellet, the smallest French wine appellation located on the heights east of river Var. This AOC is little known. We ourselves happened to discover and appreciate these winemakers and their wines only last year. For us they are the newcomers of Bellet, perhaps even of the French south! Here steep vineyards, a Mediterranean breeze and mineral soils meet people who understand their craft.
Culinary highlights include two highly decorated gourmet chefs, at whose restaurants you will enjoy their major signature menus. First: Tom Meyer, a rising culinary star currently awarded two Michelin stars, in the restaurant La Chèvre d’Or, the hotel restaurant of your accommodation. The finale is a dinner in the Mediterranean’s preeminent gourmet kitchen, Alain Ducasse’s flagship Le Louis XV in Monaco.

On the drive from Vence we’ll take you behind the scenes of one of the few wineries located directly on Nice’s municipal land. The AOC Bellet is France’s smallest appellation and sits on the hill east of river Var. The work at Domaine Saint‑Jean in Bellet is distinguished by a unique combination of location, microclimate and craftsmanship: vineyards on steep slopes with well‑draining, mineral soils, a constant sea breeze that preserves freshness and elegance in the grapes, and a winemaking philosophy that favors quality over quantity. The result is expressive, terroir‑driven whites, rosés and reds with clear fruit, fine acidity and often a salty, mineral note — ideal with fish, seafood and Mediterranean cuisine.
Afterwards we’ll lead you along the famous Corniches to the hotel in Èze. These panoramic roads between Monaco and Èze represent some of the Côte d’Azur’s most spectacular coastal stretches: narrow, winding roads that cling to steep rock faces and open up breathtaking views of the azure sea. The Grande Corniche certainly offers the most spectacular vistas of the coastal strip including Cap Ferrat; the Moyenne Corniche (Princess Grace died here) brings us finally to the day’s destination in Èze Village; and the Corniche Inférieure — always close to the water — runs through famous spots such as Cap d’Ail, Beaulieu, Villefranche‑sur‑Mer and Saint‑Jean‑Cap‑Ferrat.
Once you arrive at the Château de la Chèvre d’Or the world becomes nothing but a view: the horizon, the Mediterranean stretching out to it, and the hotel’s terraced grounds cascading down the slope. In the evening you will dine on a menu by Tom Meyer, the rising star of French haute cuisine. The young chef has been running the kitchen at La Chèvre d’Or for almost a year with a clear vision: tradition and modernity in perfect balance. Inspired by the immediate surroundings — sea, mountains and Mediterranean gardens — he relies on meticulously selected ingredients and gentle preparation that highlight the original flavors. His menus tell stories of season and origin; each dish is precisely composed and expertly executed.
The next day we’ll shuttle you to Nice for an engaging city tour with Brigitte Camelin. After lunch we’ll return quickly by shuttle to the hotel, because in the evening the culinary highlight awaits: Le Louis XV – Alain Ducasse at the Hôtel de Paris. The cuisine at Le Louis XV combines Mediterranean flavors with technically flawless craftsmanship. Under the direction of the head chefs — currently Emanuel Pilon, who realize Alain Ducasse’s culinary philosophy — menus are created based on the finest regional ingredients, seafood and fresh herbs. The result is dishes of great clarity, refinement and depth, accompanied by discreet, highly professional service.
